This wine serves to celebrate our 50 years in Carneros, and to offer thanks to our friends, family, and loyal customers for their decades of support. We are drawn to Carneros for its cool and breezy climate in the early 70s, as a place to grow Burgundian style varietals, and we helped establish the Carneros AVA in 1983.
We planted the Las Brisas Vineyard in 1997, and now grow a small amount of Pinot Blanc in an experimental block of white varieties. This wine was made from those vines, in the traditional method, fermented in this bottle, and aged on the yeast lees for over six years.
