About: This Albariño grows at Las Brisas Vineyard, a foggy, windy site overlooking San Pablo Bay. This grape requires a cooler climate that also has a lot of sunshine in order to thrive and we found that Carneros is able to give this grape the right conditions to thrive. As our first vintage since 2020, we are very happy with how this grape grew in 2023.
Tasting Notes: Lovely floral, apricot, and peach aromas with a crisp high acid, grapefruit and lemon zest palate.
Winemaking: Fermented in both neutral French oak (40%) and Stainless barrels for 6 months. The decision to barrel age this in neutral and stainless barrels was to blend the mouthfeel from the neutral oak barrels with the brightness of the wine from the stainless steel barrels. It was also fermented on two different yeasts for added complexity to the wine.
Your order ships in recyclable packaging, unless otherwise noted.
