Our Estate Vineyards

The Mahoney Family owns three vineyards in northern California's wine country. Our Sonoma County vineyard in the Carneros Appellation is named Las Brisas Vineyard in recognition of the strong winds that drive morning fog from our vineyards and usher in cooling airflow in the late afternoon. Our Napa County vineyard in the Carneros Appellation is named Mahoney Ranch as this vineyard runs adjacent to the Mahoney Family home, and offices. The Mahoney Ranch vineyard contains our Gavin Vineyard - the exclusive source of our Gavin Vineyard Chardonnay. Our Solano County vineyard, located in the Suisun Valley Appellation is our newest acquisition. The Suisun Valley Appellation is quickly becomming the wine country that Napa and Sonoma counties were before they went corporate.

In our vineyards, cellars; and offices, Carneros Wine Company | Mahoney Vineyards focuses on stewardship of the lands that provide for us. From the energy efficient tractors and owl boxes in our vineyards, to the solar arrays and recycle programs in our offices, we try to minimize our carbon footprint whenever and wherever we can. In fact, because we are in the argiculture business, our goal is to produce less CO2 than our vineyards offset.
